Masters of Counselling, Adv.Cert Psychotherapy
Graduate Dip. Counselling | Dip. Counselling, Psychotherapy
PhD Candidate.
At Inward Reflections, my commitment lies in cultivating a nurturing environment where your well-being is the focal point. I integrate empathy with evidence-based therapies, striving to assist you in gaining a deeper understanding of your mental terrain while fostering enduring change.
While appreciating their importance, I seek to look past diagnostic labels to genuinely understand an individual's challenges, their often complex origins and the patterns that may perpetuate them. I strongly focus on understanding the underlying causes, and the long term effects of trauma, that may contribute to present day challenges or symptoms, instead of merely focusing on symptoms alone. To me, the process of therapy is much more than a set of structured treatments for a set of symptoms; it is a working relationship that is formed over time between you and me, one that is exclusively focused on your needs and wellbeing.
Academically, I am a master's degree qualified clinician, holding both undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in the field, and I am presently completing a PhD.
